Safety practices to have when technology is around
Everyone loves a good smartphone and the commodities of a home banking app. But what happens when someone turns technology against you? This article is about "sound"
Today, a #LED was lit (maybe a #microLED) is what I normally say when a good idea comes to mind. This time it occurred when I was programming #python. I decided to add a line of code for when the machine learning model finishes training, the computer emits a #beep sound for a period of time.
In python, you can choose the sound frequency of the beep, in Hz, and the duration of the beep. And at that moment I remembered to test several frequencies to choose one that was to my liking. In between, I discovered hypersensitivity in the frequency around 400Hz (bass) and also in the frequency around 11,000Hz (medium)... I didn't test values above until the threshold of the audible, the 25,000Hz.
My response was one of typical hypersensitivity of a sound source that continues to emit in that range of values over a short period of time. A characteristic of a possible continued attack in the vicinity !!!
If you’re not a computer programmer like me, you can still do the auditory test, to assess if you’ve been targeted by any kind of sound attack by a stranger. Install an app on Android/IOS: For instance the App “Frequency Sound Generator”
Choose one frequency: from 100Hz to 25,000Hz with intervals of 100. The lower values are the low sounds or BASS sounds, and the upper values are the high sounds.
When one feels abnormal discomfort in one of the ears it means the affected ear is more sensitive/overloaded to the sound frequency you just tunned. This is a good indicator for finding out if you have been targeted afar by some kind of sound attack device. This way, at least you get to know the sound frequency of the attack made on yourself.
In case of an attack, do not forget to make an appointment at the nearest doctor, and inform which sound frequency you feel discomfort or pain! Also important to register, how the hypersensitivity evolves, by repeating the test every day and whenever one feels ear discomfort or pain. To check if the values are maintained or change over time.
(Btw, if anyone knows someone able to translate this into the technical language of a medical doctor, please get in touch with me )
An insightful Tuesday to all.
